As all PG cigars, the Symphony LTD has perfect construction, amazingly even burn, and is a smooth, flavorful choice for those who like a smoke that transitions throughout the stick. I recommend PG cigars to everyone. They are a bit pricey but the quality is the reason.

Years ago Punch was the cigar, even if it was not the Cuban Punch! I do not know what they have done with the non cuban Punch but someone missed the boat on a great name! Bitter, sometimes blemished and bad burn will ruin a name. Can someone rescue this cigar? Where,Oh where did my PUNCH go?????????????
This a very tasty cigar, good aroma and decent burn! But after smoking a box I came up with the same problem most of the time---THE CAP. Nick should at least double cap the Noir! It is much easier to nub a cigar when you do not have to burn your lips!!!! This a wonderful cigar with bourbon hints, lets hope Nick gets the hint!!!
This is a good tasting cigar but when you get right down to it, I may as well smoke a V series 6 x 60 and through away what I will not finish! If the price was loWer on a 4 x 60 you would not have to think that you have to nub the NUB!
I smoke mostly Oliva V series, this is a little off the path but it is really a great smoke. The flavor good all the way through and I have had no trouble with burn issues. Unlike a lot of 60 rings this is capped very well! I believe you will enjoy this if you like 60 ringers with medium to full taste! Buy it you will not be disappointed!
I smoke Oliva V series and I thought that I would try the Cain Daytona for a early in the day smoke. The construction is not real good, the burn is bad, the taste is blas zay! May be ok for a new smoker if he does not mind touching it up every few minutes!Only OLIVA in name!!!!!!
Got these in and smoked the same night - Awesome. Enjoyed it! It had smooth draw, even burn, nice spice taste throughout. I normally smoke a maduro or oscuro, but I will definitely be ordering another box and hope to find another cigar like this.
Went out on a limb when I bought this one. Needed a suitable daily smoke to fill the humidor. Now own a second box. Full flavor but not full strength more medium. A must have for anyone who enjoys a well made smoke. Burns clean and holds a ash well, no touch ups required. Don't let this one slip under your radar. You will not be disappointed!
This is by far the tastiest cigar I have ever ever smoked. Picture the best liqueur you've ever tasted, translate it into a cigar, and this is it. Were they available all the time, they would take up a full half of my 300-cigar humidor (that holds only 200, of course!!!) My tastes run to Partagas Black Piramides, Padron Maduro Deliciosas & Churchills, and La Aroma de Cuba Mi Amor Belicosos; if your tastes are similar, you'll love these — but please don't try them or buy them, because that'll be one less box available for me!!!
I've smoked a dozen of these: about half were good to great, one or two fell apart while smoking, and about a quarter were fantastic. The main problems with this cigar are tightness and construction; sometimes 5 minutes of massage helps, sometimes not. Better QC would make this consistently excellent, as the blend is beautiful, but the tightness prevents its even development across & throughout the cigar.

I can post this review now since I safely bought the last two boxes in stock. I bought a couple of these sticks a while back and finally got around to smoke one and I thought not bad, interesting flavor throughout. Then I purchased a box from Atlantic Cigar and had another one. That's when I was convinced to snatch up the remaining boxes.
From start to finish I enjoyed this stick more than others that are priced at more than double this one. It wasn't harsh or overwhelming, just smooth and gobs of aromatic smoke that filled my smoking room. I suggest that you buy them if you can find them.
I doubt there are better cigars than the Corona Gorda in the price range. It is so smooth that I doubt aging them is worth while. IMO they would get too mild. I will get a 5 pack of the Churchill's to compare, but I will definitely be getting this size in boxes on a regular basis from now on. The earlier review that said the cigar smokes over an hour is true, which probably means the churchhill will last 2 hours. By them by the box

Los Hermanos Gordo 6.60x60 cigar review.
I orderd a box from Atlantic cigar because they recommended them to me. I needed something new after spending all Fall and Winter smoking Casa Fernandez, 601 Green, CAO America, and Ortega Serie D. For the record I only purchase boxes so I smoked a lot of them with my friends.
The box of Los Hermanos came in the mail by UPS, and I immediately put them in the humidor. I took out one and inspected it. It was very nice and smooth. I did not see any construction flaws. I then poured myself a glass of Buffalo Trace bourbon on the rocks to enjoy with it. I clipped the cap and it sheared off perfectly. The draw was open. I enjoyed the spiciness from the cold draw, and the cigar had a nice tobacco smell to it. I toasted the cigar with my touch lighter, and enjoyed the full flavor from the first puff. It produced lots of thick white smoke, with a great spicy and leather taste. The cigar also had nice hints of espresso and earth as I smoked it. I let the ash burn until it fell off on its own. It made it just about half way before it fell. The only downside was the cigar required a few touch ups with the lighter to straighten out the burn.
Then a week later, I had my second cigar out of the box. The cigars have been in my humidor for a week now at 70%. After mowing my lawn I figured I would spend my afternoon relaxing, and having a cigar with a tall glass of water. All the same flavor profiles were there that I previously stated and it only required a few touch ups. Not as many touch ups as the first one, and the draw was not as open. Very nice!
I was very pleased with my purchase and I highly recommend them. To me I enjoy a large gauge cigar. Nothing smaller than a 52 gauge. These cigars will be a big hit for the late Spring and Summer for cigar nights with the guys, after mowing the lawn, or enjoying with a few cold beers in front of the fire.
This is a fantastic smoke. So many flavors that meld perfectly together in a rich creamy brew of goodness. This is definately a full body cigar and you must take care not to let the cigar over power you. Straight burn and cool smoke all the way.

I have tried most all Drew Estate Cigars, so when I came across the Madre Subculture, I tried a 5 pack. The cigar itself is box pressed, similar to the Deep Dish. It is well contrusted, flawless, with a deep brown color. What really impressed me was the excellent flavors. Drew Estate infuses this Cigar just right! Then the Smoke! There is a tremendous amount of white smoke that billows from this cigar. It also is 1.25 longer than the Deep Dish, so it is a good after dinner smoke. I would highly recoemmend trying the Acid Madre Subculture if you are a Drew Estate Fan like me!
Drew Estate does not make "Flavored" Cigars, but Infused Cigars. Some have more taste than others, but all are some of the best smokes. The Ambrosia line takes the Infusion over the top with clove, jasmine and other oils. The Variety Pack has 4 pairs of the Ambrosia line. It is missing the Triple Corona which is truly one of the Best Cigars out there. Atlantic Cigar has some of the best prices I have found and the Ambrosia Variety Sample arrived quickly!
Rocky has hit a home run with these Cameroon wrapped beauties. I suggest you get them to a humidor quickly and let them sit a while before you start to enjoy them. The first of the bundle had a very poor draw and I thought I threw away my money. The rest seem to have a good draw, good flavor and consistent from first light to end of smoke. I like Cameroon and these rank up there close to Arturo's
Of course Garcia is one of the finest crafted, best blended, and finished cigars, period. This particular edition is truly superior grade. Full, rich smoke that continues through the entire experience, with tones of earth, leather, deep spices, and heavy wood tones. I would recommend to experienced cigar folk, especially if your pallet enjoys the full bodied and subtle tobaccos. Probably cautious to offer to a first smoke, or newly S/BOTL.

I've been searching for a 30 minute cigar that delivered the same full flavor as the Padrons, Cristos, and even some of the Nubs and Cains and think I found it. I don't always have an hour or hour and a half to puff on one of my favorites and hate having to leave one after only a few inches of it gone. This little thing blew me away with full Ligero flavor right from the first puff until I put it down 30 minutes ago. My tongue is still tingling and it was one of the most enjoyable little smokes I had in some time. I'm back on the website only to get some more right away because the 4 I have left arn't going to last. Burn was even all the way down with no touch-ups required. Medium to tight draw (which I prefer on a full flavor) with exceptional construction and a nice firm whiter then white ash. What can I say? I'm stocking up.
I've had these sticks for about a month. I tried one the day I got it and it was a bit blah. Now, a month later, Bullseye! It starts off with a wonderful blast of spice. It's nutty, becomes complex, smokes slow, excellent construction, very creamy. Perfect burn line. You can't knock the ash off. Chock full of flavor. I would say it's much closer to medium than mild. This is the bargain of the century.
This is a good smoke if you know what you're getting into. For those of us that are not very much into bold, sweet flavors in the smoke AND on the stick itself, this may not suit your tastes. Nevertheless, it was very well constructed with an even burn. My wife loved the aroma, which was a plus, and the plume was great. After settling to the fact that I would have a super sweet flavor on the tobacco leaf and smacking it off my lips every time I put the stick to my mouth, I really began to enjoy the smoke.
this is sleeper hit, fantastic construction and flavor. Firmly in the medium category.
The Alec Bradley Prensado Corona Gorda is the second smoke from the maker that I've had (first being AB Overture). I have to say, the taste is consistent throughout.
I picked up notes of chocolate and some pepper on the palate as well. It's a nice long smoke, so be ready to enjoy it, because you will. Please note that the stick is box pressed, but still an amazing treat to smoke.
If you have a chance to try the Prensado Churchill, this is also highly recommended. (2011 Cigar of the Year, Cigar Aficionado)
Enjoy!

I've been smoking top notch cigars for the last 30 years.... This is one of the very bset!
If you are one of the lucky ones to get your hands on these beautiful boxes, you will surely marvel at the work that went into dressing them!
The smoking experience is even better than the looks!
I had planned on using some of these as "trade bait" but quickly changed my mind upon enjoying the first one.
If I had more room in my humi, I would have more boxes of these onhand!
On a random whim, i chose to get a 5 pack of these cigars with another order, and once lightly rested in my humi, i was excited to try them.
After marvelling at the construction for a bit, I was delighted upon lighting, to find I was greeted by a delicious and strong hit of a variety of flavors.
This flavor profile kept me of my toes, and looking forward to each oncoming puff.
Although, it did mellow a little, this cigar kept up a varying profile and had me hooked right to the nub.
A finger burner for sure! I ordered a box before my first one was even finished!

I brought a box of Verocus on a vacation to Italy (Rome) They were just right for a quick smoke between visits to the sites and after supper. I smoked them over a 2 week period and they got better and better. My favorite time was in the morning with a cappuccino. I kept them seal in a Ziploc bag and Xikar humidity disc. I visited the famous Cuban cigar place in Rome "La Casa del Habano", I bought half a dozen cigars and not one of them was as satisfying as my Verocus. Now I keep a box or 2 of these in my humidor, you never want to run out.
Nice easy draw, with plumes of fumes. Medium strength with slight spice on the tip of the tongue. Even burn with great ash.
Excellent full bodied cigar. The burn isn't always perfect-but this does not affect the wonderful flavor. If you like LaGloria Cubana Serie R then you be pleased with these.
This was one of the best cigars I have had in a while. It was medium to mild strength but full in flavor. This is a good cigar for the pro as well as the novice. The quality is way above the price. Buy them now before the secret gets out.
Great amounts of flavorful smoke from this small cigar. when you want a real cigar, but didn't think you had the time, now you do. I love this one.....
Being a big fan of Connecticut Broadleaf cigars, I was looking for a lower price alternative for daily smokes as I smoke 3 or more cigars a day. I'm glad I found the Decision bundles. These are a tasty, value priced bundle that won't break the bank even if you smoke as many as I do in a day. The longer they stay in your humidor, the better they get. In this economy, its hard to find a good cigar in this price range that auctally tastes good, but I found it in the Decision bundles.
My personal flavor profile is a med. full to full strength cigar. I love maduro's in general. Padron, Arturo Fuentes, Camacho cigars are some my favorites and regular smokes. But after smoking these cigars all I can say is WOW! These are Padron cigars with more sweetness, spice and strength. After letting them rest for a week or two in my humidor they become very delicious. Where the Padron's are very nutty and woodsy. These add sweet coffee and black tea notes to the mix. The ash tends to flake off very quickly though, so you need to have the ash tray near by. I tried these in the corona size and felt that this gauge is a lot superior. As Padron's prices keep going up these cigars are a steal. There's no wondering what I will be stocking up on. This is now my favorite Maduro. Try them and see if you agree. Best regard's.

Boasting tobacco that was 15 years old, I had to try it. I am not a huge Gurkha fan, but it was probably the best one I have tried. The one I fired up had been in the humidor for about a month. It felt a little soft all over, but that could be due to the fact the RH it was kept at was 71%. The look of the cigar was great, right down to the pig tail cap.I cut the tail off and the pre light draw was good, along with a dry, woody tabacco flavor. After firing it up and it got going, there was ample amount of smoke. The flavor was pretty much one dimensional, that of well cured tobacco with some occasional hints of subtle sweetness.
The burn was not even, but I never had to touch it up or relight it. It held a good firm ash and lasted me about 1.5 hrs. It came across as a medium body, but towards the end it ramped up a little. What I do want to say is that I didn't want to put it out. It never got bitter, so I smoked it right down to the nub. Overall this was a good cigar and at under $7.00, it was worth the price of admission. I don't think I would by a box, but it is worth trying.
I'm not usually a fan of box pressed cigars, but I bought a 20ct box of these a few years back and after the 1st stick I was like a kid in a candy store and after the 2nd stick... these became another of one my all time pesonal favourite smokes, as each stick in the box was enjoyed right down to the nub and I will most definitely have to buy a few more boxes of these smokes again soon.
These cigars are beautifully constructed, solid and comfortable with a smooth medium draw, good flavours with a smooth finish, a well secured wrapper which had a nice dark and oily texture... all of which make this a top class cigar.
I gladly rate this cigar 95/100, the only reason I don't rate 'em 100/100 is because I would have liked the cigars to be in a Grande Corona size, so there was more of these cigars to enjoy.
I highly ecommend this cigar to anyone and for the right pairing for this cigar, the dark, earthy, and smooth flavours of the coffee/nuts and chocolate, would go best with coffee, cappuccino, or perhaps a pint of Guiness.
Go ahead and try 'em for yourselves, you'll not be disappointed.
When you open the cutter up and look inside, you see 6 thin razor blades that are pointed at the top where you insert the cigar. I followed the enclosed directions and pushed it straight in until it stopped...about an inch or more. You could barely see the slits put in there when you looked at it up close after you take it out.
I torched the end and began to puff...just as they said, it drew very well and produced a good volume of smoke.
As I smoked the cigar and gently bit down, they were right, you can adjust the draw as you smoke. The weird thing is, as you smoke and glance down at the cigar in your hand, you don't see the traditional cut or punch! Very strange indeed.
As I continued to smoke, it didn't clog up at all...and I did put a little extra saliva on it just to test it out.
You would gently put pressure on the tip and the draw was perfect the entire time.
Is it novel?...yes. Is it revolutionary?...ehhh. Did it make the cigar smoke cooler?...if I said yes, I may be making that up. Is it cool as hell and will I use it?...definitely YES.
At no time did it clog or become tough to draw on.

If you like full bodied smokes, this is one not to miss. A wonderful, dark, meaty, rich, wonderful smoke. Great size for a busy weeknight smoke in the evening. One of my "go to's" much of the time..!!
Excellent Cigar. Very Consistent throughout, has a nice flavor, a little spicy but all in all a great cigar. I've been smoking them for 3 years now.
FOR NOT BEING A CUBAN, THIS CIGAR HAS WHAT IT TAKES TO BE A MAN'S CIGAR! GREAT STRONG FLAVOR, NOT GREAT FLAVOR,UOZ361 BUT GREAT STRONG FLAVOR! BEAUTIFUL COLOR, CONSTRUCTION AND LABEL! I GO ABOUT 2 MONTHS AND THEN I HAVE TO HAVE A BOX OF THESE TO GO WITH MY OLIVA V DOUBLE TOROS!
I WAS HOPING FOR A GREAT FLAVORED CIGAR BUT JUST WHEN I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO GET FLAVOR IT FADED. MAYBE YOU WILL LIKE THIS CIGAR BUT I WANT A CIGAR THAT AFTER I HAVE SMOKED IT I KNOW THAT I HAD A CIGAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OUTSIDE OF THE NAME AND THE NICE BOX I COULD HAVE PURCHASED A BUNDLE OF MARSH WHEELING STOOGIES AND BEEN MORE SATISFIED! THE FLAVOR WAS TERRRIBLE, THE CONSTRUCTION LIKE PAPER AND BURN UP AND DOWN! EITHER I GOT A REAL BAD BOX OR THIS IS THE WAY THEY ALL ARE! I WILL NOT WASTE MONEY ON THIS AGAIN, THE MONTECRISTO NAME SHOULD ONLY BE IN CUBA!!!!
THIS IS A VERY NICE FLAVORABLE CIGAR THAT LASTS ALL THROUGHT THE CIGAR AND BRINGS YOU GOOD ELEMENTS WITHOUT HARSH RESULTS! SWEET HINTS AS WELL AS SPICES! I WOULD BUY THIS MORE OFTERN IF THE PRICE WERE LOWER OR AT LEAST MAX UP TO 24 or 25 PER BOX TO USTIFY THE HIGH COST! GREAT CIGAR, TRY THEM YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!
THIS CIGAR HAS GOOD TASTE, FAIR CONSTRUCTION, DECENT BURN, AND ARE VERY NICE LOOKING. THEY ARE WELL WORTH THE PRICE! THERE ARE MANY HIGHER PRICED SMOKES OUT THERE THAT DO NOT EVEN COME CLOSE FOR WHAT YOU PAY! BUY THESE AND SMOKE THEM WHEN YOU ARE NOT SURE HOW MUCH TIME YOU HAVE AND HAVE TO TOSS THEM!
I ENJOYED THIS CIGAR VERY MUCH AND WOULD PURCHASE THEM AGAIN, IF I FIND THEM ON SALE OR IN AN OFFER! THE PRICE DOES NOT JUSTIFY THE FAULTY CONSTRUCTION AND SIZE OF THE CIGAR! SOME COMPANIES BELIEVE THAT BECAUSE OF THEIR NAME OR LEGACY, THEY CAN CHARGE WHAT EVEER THEY LIKE! THERE IS TO MUCH COMPETITION OUT THERE TO OVERSPEND! IF YOU HAVE THE FUNDS TO SPEND, TRY THEM!
I LIKE BIG RING CIGARS, AFTER TRYING A BOX OF THESE I FIND NO SATISFACTION IN THE CIGAR AT THE PRICE THEY SELL FOR! I LIKE A CIGAR THAT GIVES YOU PLENTY OF TASTE ALL THE WAY THROUGH! IT IS A NICE LOOKING CIGAR, BUT EVERYTHING THAT GLITTERS IS NOT GOLD!
As listed in the pros and cons. No cons really... this is such a unique set of cigars. I really hated to open it and smoke them. Really more of a collectors piece. May purchase another strictly for that reason. This is a well worth smoke though. Excellent medium to full body smoke that holds the ash quite well despite it's oddly curved wrap. I must say, I give these cigars two thumbs up and three if I had them! Worth the purchase. Hope to get more again soon. Additional note on the shipping. I received these in only two days! WOW! Very fast shipping, was carefully packaged in a priority mail box with LOTS OF PADDING! I was impressed at how well care was taken to ship these. AAA +++. Thanks again! Now.... back to my cigar! Ha haaaaa!

Let me start this review by admitting a bias I have, I have never found a Rocky Patel smoke that I love. I have found quite a few of them that have been decent, I most certainly won't turn one down, but I have never been bowled over by a Patel like I have by other similar brands like Cubao, Cabaguain or some Torano's.
Pre-light the Nording cigar I smoked had a solid roll, good draw, no over-veined wrapper, had a nice color, consistency, clean head and foot, no bulges under the wrapper, no plugs interfering with draws.
I clipped and lit it with no problems, it required no corrections, burned straight and slowly (which I like.) However I can't even remember what it tasted like? I smoked the whole cigar, down to an inch or so left (which is about normal for me,) I don’t remember any bad flavors, or difficulties, I didn't put it down in disgust, I just don't remember a single remarkable thing about this cigar, which blended the memory of this cigar in with a whole lot of others that, weren't bad, I just have no reason to return to them?
It is my belief that, thanks to the hard work of all of these wonderful contemporary cigar craftsman we have around today, brilliant talents such as Dion Giolito and Jaime Garcia, that we are in a Golden Age of cigars! We have at our fingertips access to some of the best cigars that have ever been accessible to non-royalty, and the click of a button. Even here in America with our antiquated, stubborn laws against Cuba, we have access to hundreds of AMAZING cigars from tens of manufacturers that easily rival (and sometimes surpass) the best that Cuba can offer. I can't throw a stick at, even a website like this, without seeing a hundred cigars that I love so much they make me drool just seeing small electronic pictures of them. So when I come across an unassuming, non-descript cigar like this, when I have so many other choices I am eager and passionate about, I just have to pass on a cigar that is not noteworthy in any way that inspires me.
I had the priviledge of meeting Mr. Nording when this brand was rolled out, and despite my ambivalence to this brand, I liked Mr. Nording quite a bit and have a deep respect for his craftsmanship of his pipe line. I like to see good things happen to good folks, so I would like to see this cigar come back with a better, more inspiring blend so that I can try it again and be able to recommend it to people!
I smoke all the sizes, but this one is my favorite by far. Pete Johnson really got this cigar right. Of all the Connecticut Broadleaf offerings he has, this one is the best. I never have less than a full box in the humidor.
I’ll admit this isn’t something I would have tried if it wasn’t for the price. Fantastic presentation, box pressed chocolate wrapped thin veined toros, nice easy draw, thick white ash, complex flavors expressing all the way down to the label. I don’t know another way of scoring but on construction, taste and finish these guys ace it. I’d pay full retail for them now, thanks to Atlantic I don’t have to.
This cigar is as good as any cigar I've ever smoked. Wonderful taste. Warning: It's very strong! I like that. It tastes delicious, nice and smooth. It has it all. Puff them up and enjoy! Have a nice Scotch with it! Cragganmore 12 or some such whisky.
This Cigar has become my daily burner. A sweet lip with a mouthful of smoke that burns evenly and slowly. It is good from Match to mouth. Simple presentation, beautiful wrapper and pleasant aroma.
Best value cigar Ive had maybe ever. I dream of lighting another of these up. Great med draw, smoke is intoxicating, unique pepper spice (the corojo is different) great burn and feel. Man not much to complain about. And oh yeah, they are cheap
Another Great smoke, as the other poster stated is very smooth and would recommed to those just starting out.
The constuction was good, little tight draw as i have found with most macanudo ascots, but not enough to not enjoy.
I found the taste to be abit on the bitter side when i was smoking it, and as soon as i noticed that i paired it with a lite beer, and man thats when this baby shines, the compilation of the 2 made this a near perfect smoke.
The cigar alone i dont think i would work for me, but definately give this one a try.
I had stopped by a local cigar shop after a hard days work and wanted a quick smoke for the ride home. The size was perfect for a 30min smoke.
Constuction was great, the draw was perfect not to tight not to loose either.
First thing I noticed was as soon as my lips touched the wrapper all i could taste was sweet honey, and ths persisted threw the whole smoke, found myself licking my lips on more than once to savor that honey taste. The smoke itself
for the first 1/3 was full of heavy tobacco and surpised me of the strength, but after that it proceeded to smooth out and the taste proceeded to be more honey and nut, reminded me of cheerios.
The ash was solid and consistant.
All in all a good smoke, its not my favourite smoke but is on my list cigar for a nice treat, and for when i dont have time to enjoy a larger cigar.
Gals will like it for the honey taste of the wrapper.
What did i not like about this cigar, the ash was perfect on more than one smoke i have had the ash still hold on till the half way mark and out of fear of wearing it would ash it, but i am sure i could get it to the nub if i really tried.
The cigar at first had a tight draw, but not to the point of it being constricting, never had to relight it.
The taste well with subtle hints of nut, coffee, and spicyness , was a complete delight to smoke again and again.
I found it to be extremely well balanced and never to overwhelming to the pallet, just smooooooooth all the way down to the nub.
My only regret is ordering a 5pack instead of a box, these will become one of my go to smokes to just sit relax and enjoy.
Try these and you will not be disappointed. Unless like me you realise that you want more!!
Looking at it doesn't inspire confidence. There is no label, and the wrapper has huge ugly veins. That's the point of Factory Throwouts, of course, but it's a big turn-off. The cherry spits sparks, too, which burned my finger. Not inspiring at all. But oh that taste! Sweet, with hints of caramel. And the exhale smells so good! Sometimes I would just put my face into the smoke and breathe deep. Overall, this is like a greasy burger - it doesn't look like much, but you love lifting it to your mouth.
Agree with last review.
I usually smoke these when the weather is frigded cold out, or when i dont have time for a long smoke. Can usually puff on these for 20-30mins at a relaxing pace.
The construction is solid, which can lead to a tight draw, but usually they let up after the first 3rd.The smoke is mild, with subtle hints of mocha/coffee/cream and is over all a pleasure to smoke.
Always nice to have a tin of these in the Humidor.
I normally like a variety of cigars to smoke depending on what mood I'm in. I tend to shy away from mild, med. cigars because they just don't satisfy me. That's why when I read a review about a cigar as being sweet, fruity and medium bodied I tend to shy away from them. But this little gem has got it all. After smoking a couple of these cigars I am convinced these cigars are HIGHLY UNDERRATED! Out of the box very chocolatey and raisin like flavors emerge, An underlying sweetness on the lips. The cigars strength is strong med. from the start and almost full strength midway to the end. But here's the thing, after a little aging. This cigar becomes a power house! The sweetness subsides to some very prominent chocolate flavors and allows the tobacco flavor to come up front. It still maintains its sweetness but the character of the tobacco is in charge. The strength becomes almost full tilt from the midway point to the end. While staying smooth as butter to the end! What I enjoy about this cigar is that its not a spice roller coaster tasting one way on one part another on a second part. It's more like a steam engine that starts chugging slowly to a mid night express! I know I'm being mellow dramatic here, but this is how much I really enjoyed this cigar. This cigar will definitely have a place in my humidor from now on. Let these baby's rest for a couple of weeks and you will be rewarded with a Kick Ass smoke. Best regards!
This is one fantastic smoke, its smooth all the way down to the nub. Its everything the description says it is and more. Have smoked 5 so far and have had no issues, lite once, burned even, a truely enjoyable experience each time.
Ill be buying a box of these to make as a staple in my humidor.
These wonderful little smokes have become my absolutely favorite "AM with coffee" smoke. A blast of pepper and spice, some nice coffee and darker tastes in the background. Goes fantastically with a cup of fresh coffee...awesome small cigar.
My box of these 601 Prominente Maduro’s arrived yesterday. The box they came is exquisite. The slightly sweet coffee, mocha aroma that pours from these cigars is exquisite. The construction, draw, burn, and ash of these beauties are exquisite. That being said...the intense flavor notes produced by these cigars will send you into the stratosphere!! Damn!! This has got to be the best cigar deal of all times! What are you waitn' for booby??
Bought this as part of a sampler. This is a very tasty stick. Very easy to smoke. Ash holds on for dear life. The toro size burned for about an hour and smoked cool to the nub. This is now a must have in my humidor!
I have a Xikar and this Palio and I find that I use Palio more frequently. It's an excellent piece of design and the quality is great. Comes with a nice leather pouch too.
I'll admit, I'm a cheap bastard, I would have never tried this cigar if atlantic didn't have it at such a deep discount. Now that I've smoked one, I would pay full price for the box. Rich, lush, meaty, billows of thick smoke, white ash, handsome construction, this smoke has em all, there's not many smokes you can legally buy that compare and none in this price range. Subjective, of course, but I'm impressed and my loyalty to Atlantic is sealed.
Having smoked a lot of cigars without and sweet flavors, I was sceptical. However, this stick was fantastic from start to finish. Nice even burn, great on the palate without any lingering aftertaste. An overall good cigar.
Almost afraid to give a glowing review, there's so few available as it is. This is a well aged, spicey, complex, beautiful box pressed gem Medium to full bodied, notes of cocoa, sweet cedar, spice, a hard cigar to put down. If you can find em, buy em. I can't imagine anyone disliking this cigar unless it was stored in a mudpuddle or sandbox.

This cigar is certainly worth the money. I don't usually smoke cigars with a ring size of 60, fearing that the draw would be too loose. I was pleasantly surprised with the draw on this cigar. This is a medium bodied cigar with great flavor all the way through. It was the last cigar I smoked one evening at a local cigar lounge I frequent. Just before I got back in my car to head home, I walked back into the place and purchased the rest of the box of these cigars. Okay, now for the details: flavor had hints of coffee and vanilla, creamy all the way through without any harsh pepper or spice. Burn was excellent and even. Required one relight in the last third after I knocked the one inch of ash off. Did not burn hot and did not exhibit any bitterness even after the relight. I cant wait to smoke another one of these babies. Beginners will like this cigar because it is not too harsh; long time cigar aficionados will appreciate the flavor and quality, especially at the price.

Smoked a couple 24hrs. off the truck. No real smell of wrapper pre-light. As mentioned, smoke these slowly. Lots of smoke for such a small cigar. Very nice burn on both sticks, only one touchup, due to my inattention. Great flavors, ones that I crave in a cigar. Roasted (not burnt) coffee , cocoa, a touch of wood, but not dry at all. Nice medium finish. Mild pepper and spice. Good 1 hour smoke. Flavors don't change much from start to finish, but with these flavors, that is fine with me. You can't beat the price... they are fresh and should only improve with age. I am more than pleased with them and will be reordering more when my 65 sticks are gone. Well done Fuego!

Solidly built, with a colorado wrapper that looks consistent and smells of fruit and pepper. The taste continues those flavors, getting more peppery as it develops. It burns evenly, but sometimes the draw was tight and I needed a poker to fix it. Overall, they are higher quality than cigars I've smoked at triple the price. A great buy, and I'm sure I'll pick up more.

This cigar is Okay. The cigar does not start out well in the first third, the next third is good (not great), and the last third is like the first third. I have smoked these with couple of friends and they agree with my desciption. It is not a bad cigar, but I have had far far better for less, and worse for more. I would smoke them again, but I would not buy them again.

Sweet strong cigar that's difficult to chuck even down to the end. Love this cigar.

Great smoke!!! Very powerful smoke yet manageable. We here in the south have an old saying when referring to powerful stuff...whiskey,cigars etc. "be careful this cigar will knock your !@#$ in your watch pocket" Perfect cigar buy all ya can!

I must admit I was skeptical of the Cigar Aficianado's glowing review simply because of the price. But upon lighting this little cigar up, you instantly know this is a world-class cigar. Creamy smoke, perfectly even burn, and lots of flavor. This is a medium to full bodied cigar without the "bite" of many full-bodied cigars. I would recommend it to all smokers - both new and experienced.

I'm a big fan of this blend of J Fuegos cigar. I have tried them in all gauges. After smoking a lot of different cigar brands and blends I keep coming back to this blend. I truly think the corona size is the best examples in strength and flavor for this blend. The larger gauges loose the quality of flavors that this blend has to offer. I love the petite corona or originals but I feel they are not consistently made, Some times being sloppy in construction and inconsistent in flavor. There regular corona is fantastic but too short of a smoke and expensive for the size. Considering for a little more you can get the Toro size. But here we are, reviewing this little Minuto. And all I can say is WOW! This little guy packs a punch! Fuego makes these with such precision that it bowls me over. The care in construction and packaging really shows. The smoke is flawless. It feels like your smoking a full strength large gauge cigar. It feels like a concentrated shot of flavor of bourbon and oak that's intoxicating. This cigar strength remind me of Tatuajes Verocu #5's but with the flavors of Grand Resereva Corojo I love so much. Now of coarse this is not a full blown large gauge smoke. But when your just in the mood for a strong short smoke this fits the bill just nicely. I definitely will be stocking up on these! Happy Holidays!

An interesting ugly little animal. Rough looking dark maduro with an oily sheen. Pigtail cap cut a bit unevenly, there were some strong veins and bumps. The foot looked as if it had been cut with a blunt knife. There was a deep cleft in the wrapper near the cap. Full flavoured with spice, coffee and sweetness towards the end.
Surprisingly, I actually enjoyed it right down to the sweet end, and I was disappointed to put it down. Poor marks on the looks and construction, but it burnt very evenly, and the taste brought it up to a good 4.

Woody, nutty, buttery
I have smoked them all and Davidoff is still the best.
Great construction as there are no soft spots. Great little cigarillos, these are great for coffee breaks

Thinking about this stick makes me salivate. Have only smoked three out of the box but all have been perfect.

I'm not one of those guys who can detect snake spit in a hayloft, I get where they are coming from though. I came across these gems while looking for something else, as usual! I bought a 5 pack and have enjoyed each and every one. This cigar had spice, rich flavor, and depending on what I paired it with, even got some buttery tones in the middle...just a joy to smoke. I'm ready to pull the trigger on a box as we speak. Take it from an average Joe...these are great mid to full smokes at an affordable price...get some, let em season for a bit...and light em up!

this was a really good smoke it burned evenly and had a few of my buddies asking where they can get more. I would recommend this one to anyone.

For a $3 cigar, the Gran Habano Conn is a good buy. Nice taste, good draw, and well constructed for the money. If I am looking for a good well priced cigar in the future, this might be my choice again.

I recieved one of the torpedo's in a sampler pack - a bit too pricey for me by the box, so I tried these and they were just as good - the pro's and con's cover the details.

VPR #6 is even better than the VOR #5. Pick some up while they're still in stock. Just a fantastic smoke all around.

I'm new to the "cigar world" and haven't tried a whole lot yet but this one will remain one of my favorites!!
I've smoked about 20 of these in the last couple of weeks. All of them have burned consistently and have a medium bodied flavor. The wrappers are relatively dark (slightly lighter than a maduro)and they hold together well.
I my opinion, you cannot get a better smoke for the price - bar none.

After picking up a few sticks at a local smoke shop I decided to purchase a box from Atlantic. I had a few issues to deal with when I got them. 1st They where firmly packed and rolled. Many of them where plugged and I had to poke them to get them to draw. (maybe a 5:00 clock special?)This was very surprising since I have never had that issue before with Arturo's. Second issue was they where to young and I had to let them rest in my humidor for a month before they came to be what I had first experienced when I purchased them from the smoke shop. I understand that the smoke shop had them resting for a while in there humidor before selling them. These cigars when properly broken in are great examples of the traditional Cuban Style Maduro. These cigars are very mild leathery and earthy cigars that can go head to head with a Padron cigar in the same size category. The Padron being more nutty and woodsy. These cigars keep the same flavor profile from start to finish. No fancy spice roller coaster here just great tobacco maduro flavors through and through. I love this cigar to start the day or after a nice lunch. Or just when your in the mood for quick mild smoke. So all said if you consider this cigar, when you receive them just throw them in your humidor for a month before you smoke them and you should be a happy camper. (And have cigar poker just in case!) And BTW the cigar box is beautiful, it makes a nice box for nick knacks! Have a Great Day!

recommended in CA mag as one of the top 25 best bargains for 2010
well built robusto and nice looking, full body and consistent taste to the end
only towards the end does more spice and
flavour come about, almond and toast flavours, reminds me of good cubans like cohiba, but a lot less cheaper

Rich, strong, and full of spice. EO has done something special here... super full bodied, unbelievable amounts of spice, and just enough pepper for balance. This is what The Edge, and Cain F aspire to be when they grow up.

By far the best bundle or 2nd cigars Ive run across in several years. These have great consturction and a perfect medium body that can be enjoyed anytime a day.

My everyday smoke. The most flavorful cigar I smoke, compared even to Liga Privada and sticks more expensive. I used to jump around. Not anymore.

I purchased this based upon some previous experience with an Alec Bradley banded cigar and hoped for the best. The smoke was rather harsh. The burn was eratic and half way through the cigar the ash point looked like the end of an asteroid. When I first unwrapped the cigar, it felt well packed, then between handling it during the smoke, the wrapper began to break and voids could be felt under the tobacco wrapper. I think that at least for this specific cigar the price should be 1/2 less ($1/stick-$20/20 pack). I don't think I will be experimenting with this product again anytime soon.

Excellent smoke, especially for an after dinner pause. The taste is incredibly smooth and does not over power the palette. I have smoked the Ashton ESG and this will rival the ESG for less than half the cost per stick. You can't go wrong with this cigar. For a premium cigar at a reasonable price, an excellent choice of a cigar.

I used to buy these from Thompson Cigar for $25 a bundle, but that was 15 years ago, and before the insane resurgence of cigar smoking that drove prices up quadruple plus. It's nice to know Fuente still makes them. Really, for 2 bucks a stick, you can't beat these babies; especially if you like Maduros. They are milder than the average Maduro, but have a wonderfully nutty flavor and aroma. No bite, and burn for a fairly long time. However, the rolling is very inconsistent, as is the ring sizing. They look a bit like an Irish Hawthorne walking stick, but for the price and flavor, I have no problem with their aesthetics; or lack there of. If you want something superior, I'm afraid you'll have to go with an 858, or something to that effect.

Okay fellas..I've been around the block a few times so I am not afraid to flat out say that this is the best cigar I have ever had. Chocolate and mocha notes through out the smoke. And if that's not enough you get a perfect draw along with a beautiful ash with tons of aromatic sweet and creamy smoke. Wow!! Don't know what the "new" packaging is about..but if the guys at Atlantic want to give these beauties away, that's their business, and our gain. Haaaa!

This is my everyday cigar and it is priced for anyone's pocket too! If I have a problem, Nick Perdomo attends to it right away... himself!

I purchased these cigars and was not disappointed. They start with a mild peppery note and bloom into a very nice vanilla cinnamon flavor. Midway the spices drop a bit into a very mild natural tobacco earthiness and picks up again with a minty ending. These cigars are mild but edge on the full spectrum towards the end of the smoke. The draw is easy and burned perfectly. I smoked one when they first arrived and found it to be very bland and boring. But after a week in my humidor they turned into something great! They seem be to young when you receive them at first. But you are greatly rewarded with a little aging. These cigars are nice to start the day and after a nice lunch. Very box worthy and affordable. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did. Best regards.

This cigar is Cubanesque with a nutty base that has a hint of carmel and a white pepper spice throughout the burn.If you love Corojo leaf try this cigar it is fantastic!

I wasn't quite sure what to expect when purchasing a box of these. After enjoying the first 5 - 10, I have to say that they are FANTASTIC! I'm a big fan of Connecticut broadleaf and, of course, Tatuaje, but was a bit skeptical of a mild - medium creation from Pete.
Fortunately I was pleasantly surprised by the sweet spicy flavor of these cigars. I've never tasted anything quite like it and, while the strength may be mild - medium, these is a lot of smooth and very flavorful smoke.
Highly recommended!

My absolute favorite cigar - bar none. Rich and full bodied to the max. Sit down, relax and burn one with a good single malt scotch. Great to smoke after a good meal as you'll need something in your belly before you light this one up.
