Click to enlargeLA FLOR DOMINICANA HABANO CORONA LTDLitto Gomez owner of La Flor Dominican has really stepped up to the plate and hit out of the park with his cigar lineups, but even more so with his limited release cigars. And he has done it again, after making his Salomons and then re-wrapping the original Small Batch No. 1 Litto still had a fair amount of Salomon wrapper leaf left. So he decided on blending up some Dominican tobaccos from his farm in La Canela, and made some 5 3/4 x 46 Corona cigars with his Salomon wrapper. Litto couldn't make enough to have a regular production or limited edition cigar, however he was able to put together 700 boxes of 20, making this an extremely limited production cigar, and once they are gone you may never see them again. Come over to one of over 2 store locations and try them out.

Click to enlargeEl Museo Cigars LTD - SingleAnother limited edition cigar by cigar master mind Lito Gomez owner of La Flor Dominicana. Litto made these cigars to benefit the Latin art museum, El Museo del Barrio, in Harlem, New York. Litto and his wife Inez Gomez worked with Ruben and Isobel Toledo on this project. Isobel Toledo is a fashion designer and Ruben is an artist; both are Cuban-American. Only 2,000 boxes were made. Ruben Toledo designed the artwork for the boxes and the bands on the cigars. Each box is numbered with a certificate of authenticity signed by Ruben Toledo. El Museo is due in shortly. We are only able to get our hands on a couple boxes so they will not last long and we will be offer them in our stores in limited supply.

LG's Litto Gomez Diez By La Flor Dominicana


LG's Litto Gomez Diez: In 1999, La Flor Dominicana challenged themselves to produce a cigar that was made entirely with tobacco grown on their own farm. Then knew it was a difficult task, because it implied  growing wrapper. According to Litto the investment was big and the risk too, but the most difficult part was the waiting. The process of fermentation and aging took more years than we expected. We tested this blend month after month for three years. Just to be disappointed because it was not ready but at the same time happy because we would taste the progress. Finally the waiting is over, today we can celebrate this great achievement.  The flavor and complexity of the LG's are everything Litto anticipated.
