VIAJE COLLABORATION 2015 CIGARS
Since established the Viaje brand has been produced in Honduras or Nicaragua, and mainly used Nicaraguan tobacco in their blends. Well for the 2015 Collaboration Andre Farkas of Viaje has team up with successful Dominican manufacturer Abe Flores of PDR cigars for the Viaje Collaboration 2015 limited release.
According to Viaje President Andre Farkas, the concept of this series is that Viaje will collaborate with another member of the cigar industry “every year or so” to develop a cigar. For 2014, Viaje teamed with Casa Fernandez and created a Nicaraguan puro blend using Aganorsa tobacco.
The Viaje Collaboration 2015 features an Ecuadorian Havana wrapper, two binder leaves of Dominican tobacco, and a filler; consisting of Dominican Corojo, Dominican Piloto Cubano, and Nicaraguan tobacco from Condega. This blend will not incorporate Aganorsa tobacco. In addition to being among the first Viaje products to use Dominican tobacco for the first time, this is the first Viaje blend to use Ecuadorian tobacco as well.
The cigars come in one size – a 6 x 52 Toro, available in Coffin boxes and coffin singles as well as without the coffins in bundles and 5-Packs and Singles. The report is only 600 boxes of 20 have been made in this once time limited release.
