At the end of 2013, Benjamin "Benji" Menendez announced his retirement from General Cigar Company and the industry where he spent over 6 decades of his life working. Menendez comes from a tobacco family, and he learned the trade with his brother in Cuba during the middle of the 20th Century.
To honor such an occasion, General has created the Partagas Benji Homage 62, a cigar worthy of a man who spent countless hours toiling away to make only the best stogies. The Benji Homage 62 is blended with a special Honduran Olancho San Agustin (OSA) wrapper, a Connecticut broadleaf binder and a mix of seco and ligero fillers from Mexico, Honduras and the Dominican Republic. Offered in two sizes, a toro and a robusto, this momentous Partagas is sure to be one of the best limited edition releases of 2014.
Benji helped shape some of the world's most renowned cigars and to send him off in fashion, one more creation is being added to his long history. Don't miss it!
