The Toraño's released a line extension in 2012, the Torano Salutem cigar, which added to their portfolio of outstanding smokes. Salutem in Latin translates to “Welcome,” to which we've replied, "Thank you very much!"
The Torano Salutem is an outstanding cigar wrapped in an Ecuadorian Habano leaf and carefully blended with fillers from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and Cameroon, which are held together with Nicaraguan Jalapa Valley binder. The addition of Cameroon tobacco is rarely used for filler as it tends to be used solely as wrapper, but the addition leads to a unique flavor profile.
The result is a well-balanced, medium-bodied cigar that’s loaded with nutty flavors with a hint of spice. The cigars are very well-constructed and feature an excellent burn. The Torano Salutem comes packaged in 12-count boxes.
