Description
New from General Cigar is the re-release of the Partagas 1845. The team that creates the Partagas brand decided a revitalization in packaging was needed to match the new 1845 blend. While the old yellow Partagas box can be spotted by most cigar aficionados from a distance, they decided a new slide top frosted glass box would grab the attention that this new blend deserves. 1845 equates to roughly 167 years of the blending of this ever popular brand. General cigar went through a supposed 50 blends before deciding on the 1845, the first new Partagas in a long time. As soon as you open the box your greeted with a very dark, oily Ecuadorian Habano wrapper sourced from the Oliva Tobacco Co. The binder is a Connecticut Habano and fillers a mix of Dominican and Nicaraguan tobaccos. The finished product is a very balanced, medium body smoke. Sweetness and some earthy nuttiness are present, with a very tasty finish. Try something new from a very old brand!
