PDR Flores y Rodriguez Connecticut Valley Reserve
The owner of PDR Cigars, Abe Flores, has another great cigar to share with the industry, The Flores y Rodriguez Connecticut Valley Reserve. Abe Flores has been known to use Mexican San Andres wrappers on his cigars, but for this project he is using a Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro. A wrapper that is difficult to blend with.
This dark and oily wrapper adds a whole other complexity to his repertoire. Masterfully blended and constructed, this cigar is nothing short of a hit. Bound with Ecuadorian Corojo and Nicaraguan Habano tobaccos, the Flores y Rodriguez Connecticut Valley Reserve will have great spice. Filled with a trio of tobaccos, Dominican Corojo, Criollo ‘98 and Nicaraguan tobacco grown in Condega, the flavor profile will have espresso and leather notes just to name a few.
Made at the PDR Cigars Factory in Dominican Republic, the Flores y Rodriguez Connecticut Valley Reserve is available in four sizes. Don’t let the price point steer you away because this cigar is one that many will be talking about. This smoke will be one to remember.
