In the world of cigar manufacturing cigar companies tend to have leftover tobacco from previous production runs. Also when purchasing tobacco in bulk the next stage is sorting the different tobaccos, some of it is used in a current production line, while some of the other sorted tobacco gets re-baled and used at a later date. Larger production companies that produce an array of cigar brands tend to amass more then others. This is the case with PDR Cigar Company, who makes cigar lines for top brands such as La Palina, Gurkha, Ortega Premium Cigars and many others. Including PDR’s own highly rated lines like A. Flores 1975 Serie Privada Capa Habano, Cigar Aficionado's No. 10 cigar for 2014. So owner Abe Flores has decided to produce a new economical line using this perfectly good surplus tobacco from some of his more expensive lines. The new brand called PDR A Crop is just that, quality tobacco that well made in a price point that sure to please. The A Crop are all long filler cigars packed in bundles wheels of 19 cigars, available in Claro or Oscuro wrappers.
