Macanudo Vintage is the rarest line in the Macanudo portfolio and are available only once a year in limited quantities. The tobaccos selected for this line is deemed vintage, which is defined when the perfect growing conditions a combination of sunshine, rainfall, and climate which only happens on average once or twice every 10 years. The very best of this vintage crop is then hand selected and carefully cured, fermented, aged, and then masterfully blended into the Macanudo Vintage Cabinet Selection. The Macanudo Vintage 2000 marks the 6th release in 26 years of the vintage line and final released for Macanudo. Each cigar is made using leaf cultivated in 2000 and slowly aged in Tercio (Palm Leaf) to perfection. This masterpiece doesn’t end here, a combination of Dominican Piloto Cubano and Mexican San Andres long-leaf filler tobaccos held together with a Mexican San Andres binder.
