Description
Only Macanudo could come up with a maduro that has been described as “mellow” again and again, without sacrificing any of the richness that one expects from the taste of a maduro. Double fermented Dominican grown Cuban seed tobacco is expertly blended then wrapped in a nearly black and not at all oily Connecticut Broadleaf. The fermentation process, of course, produces sugars and tasty hints of these dominate the first two or three abundant clouds of smoke. A rich mocha flavor is steady throughout. Macanudo’s reliable construction makes these always-firm, well packed sticks burn evenly and they produce handsome, sturdy ash.
