Erik Espinosa, the man behind outstanding brands like 601, Murcielago and La Bomba, has established his own cigar factory in Esteli, Nicaragua named La Zona, where he has rolls out more of the same great cigars he is known for. His first release from his factory, the Espinosa Habano, was a major hit, so Erik decided to launch a more price-friendly cigar under the name "La Zona."
The La Zona cigar is available in a choice of a Habano or an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, both of which utilize Nicaraguan binder and long filler tobaccos. The bottom line is that La Zona is a well-made cigar at a downright great price. The cigars are available in crates of 80 cigars or bundles of 20 cigars in two vitolas: a 5 x 50 Robusto or a 6 ½ x 52 Toro.
