La Riqueza means “the riches” in Spanish. A sophisticated blend of Cuban seed Nicaraguan long filler and Nicaraguan binder are found inside an oily, dark Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper. This is a medium body cigar from tattoo collector and cigar impresario Pete Johnson’s Tatuaje line. Each cigar is box-press finished in the old Cuban style. The taste is a hearty mix of spice with sweet hints, espresso and leather. A medium strength cigar that’s excellent any time of day.
