La Palina Goldie is a limited edition, boutique blend released only once per year with an annual production of only 2500 ten-count boxes. These cigars are produced at the boutique El Titan de Bronze factory in Little Havana, Miami.
The construction is absolutely impeccable and each cigar is finished in the traditional Laguito style with a fanned pigtail cap. This technique is taught to rollers at the El Laguito factory in Cuba, which is responsible for Cohiba cigars.
The La Palina Goldie is comprised of an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper and binder, but what makes this blend particularly unique is the filler. The Goldie uses the Medio Tiempo leaf, which is found on only 10% of tobacco plants. You won't find many cigars that use this rare leaf, which makes the La Palina Goldie quite the treat.
