Description
The La Duena cigar brand was blended by Pete Johnson for Janny Garcia, and is made in the My Father factory in Esteli, Nicaragua. According to Pete Johnson, the blend is a cross between La Riqueza and the La Casita Criollo brands, and was focused on delivering flavor over strength. The cigar blend centers around a Connecticut Broadleaf tobacco, as it is used in the filler, binder and wrapper of this blend. The result is a medium to full bodied cigar with loads of sweet, earthy flavors that balance out the spicy Nicaraguan tobacco. If you are a fan of Connecticut Broadleaf tobacco and medium bodied Nicaraguan cigars, then this maduro is a must try. The La Duena cigars are packaged in boxes of 21 cigars in 5 sizes.
