La Aurora is the oldest of the Dominican cigar companies, operating the oldest continually run cigar factory in the Dominican Republic. They’ve learned a few things along the way and all of that knowledge went into producing a cigar worthy of 100 years in the cigar business.
These Dominican puros use a difficult to grow Corojo wrapper that is aged for four years. The binder is also Dominican Corojo and the Dominican fillers were grown in 1996. In combination, these Dominican tobaccos create cigars that are medium to full-bodied and great for aging. Only 300,000 of these stogies were made. It was rated one of the Best Cigars of the Year by Cigar Aficionado, and the La Aurora 100 Anos is only getting better...while they last.
