J. Fuego Gran Reserva Corojo No. 1 was the flagship blend from third generation Cuban cigar master Jesus Fuego. This blend was a tribute to the area in Cuba where the corojo wrapper was born, since 1876 the Fuego family has taken part in the art of cigar making. The J. Fuego Gran Reserva Corojo No. 1 has been carefully fermented and patiently aged to perfection the tradition Cuban way. Hand rolled with Honduran wrapper, Costa Rican binder, and Costa Rican, Nicaraguan, and Honduran long filler tobaccos from master blender Jesus Fuego. The leaves are aged for the Gran Reserva Corojo #1 and then, once the cigar is complete, it is further aged in Spanish cedar. The appearance is oily with reddish tones in evidence. The ash is nearly black and it produces clouds of white smoke. It has a cool even burn and an earthy taste with hints of spice.
