The Excalibur, named for King Arthur’s magical sword, is a rich and robust smoke. Nicaraguan tobaccos, including crops grown on that country’s Ometepe island in the mineral-rich volcanic soil there, along with Dominican ligero, comprise the filler blend. The binder is a potent Connecticut-seed Havana variety and the wrapper is a rich and oily Connecticut Havana leaf. The construction is tight and firm. The spicy, complex smoke is robust and very tasty. Not surprisingly, another world class stick from the Villazon factory in Honduras.
