The Gran Habano STK Zulu Zulu cigars are the newest limited edition release for the father & son team. Made with hand selected limited tobaccos and carefully blended for a wonderful balanced smoking experienced. Only a small number of boxes were made, so yes these are a truly limited production cigar. The boxes were hand painted and signed by the Miami artist, and close friend of George A. Rico, known as “Kid,” and only 500 boxes of each blend were released. The Gran Habano STK Zulu Zulu cigar brand also serves a higher purpose, as a portion of the proceeds from all boxes sold will be donated directly to Invisible Children, an organization that George Rico says he holds close to his heart. They use film, creativity and social action to end the use of child soldiers in Joseph Kony's rebel war and restore LRA-affected communities in central Africa to peace and prosperity. The cigars are currently available in two wrapper styles, a Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade and a Nicaraguan Habano wrapper both featuring an all Nicaraguan filler and binder, rolled in a Lancero (7 ½ x 40) format. The Connecticut (Blue Box) is ultra smooth and extremely well balanced, the Habano (Red Box) has a bit more strength and some spicy notes.
