The Torano's are known for their extensive experimentation with different blends, which they record in a coveted "blend book." On a trip in 1998, Charlie Torano and his father discovered a "rare Pennsylvania leaf" and after trying the leaf in combination with different tobaccos, they discovered it was a great compliment to Nicaraguan long fillers. They recorded the blend in their book in 2004 and tucked it away for later use. Fast forward to now, and the Torano's have decided to release this special blend to the public. The Torano Vault D-042 is the full-bodied sequel to the hugely popular Vault A-008 that blends the special Pennsylvania filler with the rich Nicaraguan tobaccos of the Jalapa and Esteli regions. They use a Habano Nicaraguan binder and wrap it all up with a dark and oily Habano Ecuadorian leaf. The Vault D-042 is already receiving rave reviews, so don't miss out on this unique knockout blend from the infamous Toranos!
