Another winner from boutique blender Abe Florez, creator of Pinar Del Rio Cigars. Created in the Don Leoncio factory since 2008, the Habano Sub Grown (Red Label) is a hearty, full blend of Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers wrapped in a reddish-brown hued Dominican Habano sun kissed wrapper. The PDR Habano Sun Grown is of amazing quality and taste for its price point, medium in body and absolutely full in flavor. The creamy textured smoke gives off notes of red pepper, an underlying sweetness, and a earthy core of leathery, natural tobacco flavors. Landing somewhere in the middle of the road as far as strength compared to the rest of the PDR line, overall the Habano SG is a very enjoyable cigar.
