These are toothy sticks with dark, oily wrappers that deliver rich full-bodied flavor while being surprisingly smooth on the palate. The Nicaraguan tobaccos – the name means “jewel of Nicaragua” – are all aged for three years. The long-filler ligero comprises 75% of each cigar, creating a slow, even burn. One of the cigar’s two bands says “Doble Fuerte” – double strength in Spanish. The full tobacco flavor is accented with hints of unsweetened cocoa and nuts.
