CAO got the name for this cigar from a Pilon, a Pilon is a stack of tobacco leaves meticulously organized in small configurations. This method of natural fermentation maximizes flavor and color of the leaves to deliver a taste and appearance unattainable through other methods. The CAO blending team opted to apply this time-honored method exclusively to the silky Cuban seed Ecuadoran wrapper of CAO Pilon. Fired this up combined with a dry fly triticale whiskey. Heavenly combo, brought out some real amaretto liquor taste from somewhere. Also full of other flavour and a really great burn and contruction. Everything came fast and great packaged.
